CPI is a community action agency serving Butler County, Pennsylvania and is focused on fighting the causes of poverty in their communities. Working with primary consultant Rebekkah Ranallo and a strong team of co-consultants with expertise in economic development, program design, operations, and finance, we created an overarching plan for CPI’s next six years. The proposal recommends approaching development through four pillars of community support: food access, education & workforce development, community hub & event space, and small business development. To complement these goals, phased site development will result in five acres of raised beds, gardens, swales, an apiary, a greenhouse, a bat habitat, an orchard, an outdoor event space, and more! The new building facilities will house a commercial kitchen, classrooms, community space, event space, and offices for staff.
