Fresh colors, patterns, and textures drove the aesthetics of this full interior renovation. The home’s original stain glass served as the inspiration for the lively color palette. The couple and their pups all lived and worked out of the home, so division between public and private was crucial. On the first floor, a separate photography studio & entry hall accessed from the front door became the public face. And, the back door served as the family’s private entrance into the kitchen & the rest of the living space. On the second floor, a reconfiguration of the floor plan allowed for a second floor laundry complete with a rotating mosaic glass window, a new primary bath, and a guest bath. The attic space became a second studio to explore the messier arts or to nap in the hammock.
